    "message": "Keep internal notes off the public pkgdown site\n\nThe pkgdown site at https://www.mikekonczal.com/tidyusmacro/ was publishing\nCLAUDE.md, CLAUDE_dallas_pce.md, recommendations.md and BLS_COVERAGE_PLAN.md\nas CLAUDE.html, recommendations.html and so on, all returning 200. These are\ninternal working notes, not package documentation.\n\nCause: pkgdown's package_mds() renders every *.md in the package root and in\n.github/, minus a hardcoded allowlist (README, NEWS, LICENSE, cran-comments,\nissue templates). There is no configuration option to exclude anything else,\nso .Rbuildignore does not help; that only governs the tarball. Fixed by\ndeleting the files from the ephemeral CI checkout before pkgdown runs, which\nleaves the repository untouched and keeps CLAUDE.md where the tooling that\nreads it expects to find it.\n\nAlso switches the deploy step from clean: false to clean: true. With\nclean: false a file that stops being generated is never removed, so\nsuppressing the render alone would have left the already-published pages up\nindefinitely. gh-pages is entirely pkgdown output with nothing\nhand-maintained, and there is no CNAME in this repo (the custom domain is\nconfigured at the account level), so pruning is safe.\n\nCo-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>\n",
